Tim Barker
Founder
Tim Barker, the founder of Ag Astra, is a sixth-generation agriculturist, a father to five energetic boys, and the husband of his high school sweetheart, Kelli. He is a licensed Series 3 Commodities Trading Advisor (CTA) and serves as a member of both the Kansas Bar Association and the National Futures Association (NFA).
Jeff Malone
Director of Operations
Jeff Malone, a Kansas State University graduate with a degree in AgriBusiness, brings 12 years of expertise in the grain elevator industry along with experience in farm and crop insurance. As a licensed Series 3 Commodities Trading Advisor (CTA) and a member of the National Futures Association (NFA), Jeff is committed to helping farmers succeed. He and his wife, Arica, are proud parents of two sons who are continuing the K-State tradition.
Andrea Hoelting
HR Director and Business Coordinator
Andrea Hoelting serves as Ag Astra’s HR Director and Business Coordinator. With five years of experience at the FSA and a background in Human Resources, Andrea brings valuable expertise to her role. She and her husband, Brent, have three lively children. In her free time, Andrea enjoys creating memories with friends and family and supporting local high school events.
